Estimation of Real-Time Rainfall Fields Reflecting the Mountain Effect of Rainfall Explained by the WRF Rainfall Fields

چکیده
The effect of mountainous regions with high elevation on hourly timescale rainfall presents great difficulties in flood forecasting and warning areas. In this study, the rainfall–elevation relationship regional scale is investigated using fields three storm events simulated by Weather Research Forecasting (WRF) model. From relationship, a parameterized model that can estimate spatial field real time observation data ground network proposed. parameters proposed are estimated eight representative pixel pairs valleys mountains. was applied to Namgang Dam watershed, region Korea, it found as increased selected pairs, intensity also increased. increase due mountain clearly observed more areas, distribution realistically represented an algorithm tracked along terrain. validated leave-one-out cross-validation seven sites demonstrated clear advantages estimating reflects effect. These results expected be helpful for warning, which need calculated quickly, Considering importance orographic effects physical analysis environmental factors (wind direction, thermal cycles, slope angle) should continuously studied.
